Welcome to yolkit. These terms are a contract between you and Studio Vala LLC (“yolkit”, “we”, “us”) covering the yolkit app and yolkit.app. By using yolkit you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use yolkit.

1. What yolkit is

yolkit is a shop. You throw a virtual egg, crack it, and get a real collectible or fidget toy. Every crack gives you an item — there are no empty eggs. The odds of each rarity tier are shown in the app before you crack, and every item’s market value is listed in the gallery.

2. Who can use yolkit

You must be at least 18 years old to use yolkit. By using the app you confirm that you are.

3. Wallet balance, credit and cash

• Money you add to yolkit, and any promotional or demo credit we grant, is app credit. Credit has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed for cash, and can only be spent inside yolkit. Deposits are not refundable.
• Promotional or demo credit we grant for free can be changed or expired by us at any time.
• When you sell an item back, we buy it from you at its listed value. That amount is yours: spend it inside yolkit, or send it to your own U.S. bank account by bank transfer (ACH). Credit is always spent before cash.
• Bank transfers have a minimum amount and daily limit shown in the app, and are reviewed by us before they are sent. A standard transfer is free and usually arrives in 1 to 3 business days. Where your bank supports it, an instant transfer is offered for a flat fee shown in the app; it usually arrives within minutes of our review, any day of the week, and cannot be recalled once sent. We may ask for identity or tax information before sending, and may refuse or reverse a transfer we believe is fraudulent. A transfer we do not send is returned to your balance, including any fee.
• You are responsible for any tax on money we pay you. Where the law requires it, we report payouts to tax authorities.

4. Cracks are final

The item you receive is decided by the published odds at the moment you crack. Cracks cannot be undone or refunded. If a technical failure interrupts a crack, our records decide the outcome — a crack that did not complete is never charged.

5. Your shelf

Items you get sit on your shelf for 7 days. During that time you can ship the item to yourself or sell it back for its listed value. If you do nothing, the item is automatically sold back at the end of the 7 days and its full value is credited to your balance. You never lose an item’s value by waiting — you only lose the option to ship it.

6. Shipping

• We ship within the United States only.
• Delivery estimates shown in the app are approximate, not guaranteed.
• You are responsible for entering a correct and complete shipping address. If a shipment is returned because of an address error, we will contact you to arrange redelivery.
• Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

7. If we can’t get an item

Occasionally an item becomes unavailable from its maker after you buy it. If that happens before your item ships, we will return its full listed value to your balance automatically — and usually add a free crack as an apology. The app will tell you when this happens, and the details always appear in your wallet activity.

8. Your account

yolkit creates an account tied to your device — no sign-up needed. Until you attach an email address, your account lives on that device: deleting the app keeps your account, but losing the device may mean losing access. Keep that in mind before building a large balance.

9. Fair play

Don’t abuse yolkit: no exploiting bugs, automating play, manipulating the odds, or using yolkit for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts involved in fraud or abuse, and promotional credit in those accounts may be forfeited.

10. The products

Items bought on yolkit are genuine merchandise. Brand and character names belong to their respective owners; yolkit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the makers of the products in our catalog.

11. Disclaimers

yolkit is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as yolkit evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use yolkit after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA.
